We are a very friendly, vibrant and inclusive ladies’ section, and new members would be made very welcome. Currently have 60 lady members with handicaps ranging from 6.4 to 54.

Our main competition day is a Tuesday and we generally have about 40 ladies involved. If you cannot play on a Tuesday, you can play your competition card on the previous weekend. If ladies prefer social golf on a Tuesday, we operate a social group immediately after our competition. Ladies can select competition or social on a weekly basis.  Most ladies gather for lunch and a chat straight after our Tuesday session.

We have a block tee booking on a Sunday which is usually utilised by approximately 16 ladies, again some play a competition and some play social golf.

On a Saturday we have access to 6 competitions, alongside our gentleman, a year. In addition, we operate a summer Saturday competition that is exclusive to lady members.

Our social group on a Friday generally attracts about 16 ladies. If you want a social round midweek, lots of our ladies enjoy a social 4 ball and will be very happy to join you.

We enter 3 teams into the Yorkshire interclub league (Scratch, A and B) and all three teams thoroughly enjoy this opportunity. We also organise an annual trip to the Algarve in November and Cave Castle In April.

In January we publish our Captains Calendar for the year and we provide a Competitions Handbook. This helps ladies plan their golf calendar well in advance

In the last 365 days we have only been closed 1.5 days. Our annual fees are £855. Our treasurer will provide a pro rata rate dependent upon when you wish to join. Our membership runs January to December. Ladies wishing to join do not pay a joining fee and do not have to be on a waiting list.
If you are a total beginner, we offer an induction package for £99 for 3 months including 4 lessons, which allows you to give golf a try to see if it hits the spot for you.
